the other final
The Other Final was an alternative football match played in Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan in 2002. The match between Montserrat and Bhutan, the then lowest ranked teams in the FIFA World Rankings was played at the time that the final world champion ship was played in Japan.
The Other Final was a Kessels Kramer initiative. Johan Kramer directed the film The Other Final in 2003.
Bhutan+partners together with Kessels Kramer officially approached the Royal Government of Bhutan to seek permission for the organization of the match. Bhutan+partners were involved in organizing all the logistical arrangements and formal procedures required to host the match and welcome the Montserrat team and press in Bhutan.
