archery – Prins Claus Award
The Bhutan Archery Foundation received a Prince Claus Award in 2004 for their athletic and socio-cultural achievements; the Bhutan Archery Foundation introduced the international archery game to Bhutan but has not neglected the traditional game with traditional bows and arrows. Traditional archery is deeply rooted in the social history of Bhutan.
Bhutan+partners supported the nomination and assisted the Prince Claus Fund with information about archery in Bhutan. Bhutan+partners also connected the Prince Claus Fund to resource persons in Bhutan.
